Houston patients have trusted Bayou City Dermatology for medical and cosmetic skin care across three convenient locations. Founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Karan Sra, our team of physicians, physician assistants, and licensed estheticians provides expert care for conditions ranging from skin cancer and psoriasis to Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.

Karan Sra, MD
Karan K. Sra, M.D. FAAD is a board-certified Dermatologist and founder of Bayou City Dermatology. Born and raised in the great state of Texas, Dr. Sra spent her earlier years in Northwest Houston, where she attended Jersey Village High School.

She then went on to complete her undergraduate training at the University of Texas Austin where she graduated with honors. She attended medical school, internship and her Dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After completion of residency, Dr. Sra became a partner at Houston Skin Associates and Adara Medical Spa. Under her leadership the practice grew from two locations to one with four locations and multiple providers. Her mission in starting Bayou City Dermatology is to provide exemplary and compassionate care to her patients by providing the most current medical and cosmetic skincare procedures available. She does this by remaining committed to the advancement of her education and experience in the cosmetic and general dermatology fields. She is married with one daughter, she enjoys spending time with her family (and her German Shepherd) and serving her community on her days off. Her commitment to her family, patients, and employees remains her highest priority.

Audra Clos, MD
Dr. Audra Clos is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Clos has broad experience in state-of-the-art facial and body rejuvenation techniques, to address photo damage, scarring, aging, and body contouring.
Alexander Marzuka, MD
Dr. Alexander Marzuka is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and Yale School of Medicine. During medical school, he completed a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship that focused on investigating new treatments for melanoma.
He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, where he focused on becoming an excellent, well-rounded, and compassionate dermatologist. Dr. Marzuka is also fluent in Spanish. He sees patients of all ages for their medical, surgical, and cosmetic needs. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and playing with his Boston terrier.
Wesley Wu, MD
Dr. Wesley Wu graduated from Brown University and Brown Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Additionally, he is a Board-Certified Mohs Surgeon
and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
He was awarded the Max-Kade Fellowship for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology’s Everett C. Fox Award for his clinical research on skin cancer, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery’s Young Investigator Award as well as its Golden Scalpel Championship, and the Cosmetic Surgery Forum’s Top Oral Presentation. He has been a member of and a lecturer for the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Gurjeet Basra Adkins, MPAS, PA-C
Gurjeet Basra Adkins, MPAS, PA-C is a board certified and Texas state licensed Physician Assistant (PA). Prior to moving to Houston , she attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
Anna Gonzalez, Licensed Esthetician & Patient Care Coordinator
Anna Gonzalez is a dedicated Licensed Esthetician and Patient Care Coordinator at Bayou City Dermatology. A graduate of the esteemed Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Mary Higginbotham, Licensed Esthetician
With over a decade of experience in the skincare and aesthetics industry, Mary is a highly skilled Medical Esthetician specializing in advanced skin treatments within a clinical dermatology setting. Her expertise spans a wide range of cosmetic and therapeutic procedures, including chemical peels, microneedling, RF-Microneedling, acne treatments, laser therapies, skin tightening and body contouring and customized skin care regimens tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Krystle Divin, Patient Care Coordinator
Krystle has been immersed in the cosmetic and fashion industries since 2005. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree, her career has been marked by creativity, innovation, and standout recognition—earning awards like Top Design and Best in Show for fashion design.
